Part-Time Sales Associate - Children's Store

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our children's retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping families find the perfect products for their children and creating a welcoming shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with product selection for children of various ages

• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on toys, clothing, books, and other children's products

• Process transactions accurately using POS system and handle payments

• Maintain organized and visually appealing store displays and merchandise

• Keep sales floor clean, safe, and child-friendly at all times

• Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and restocking shelves

• Answer customer questions about product safety, age appropriateness, and care instructions

• Handle returns and exchanges according to store policy

• Support special events monthly

• Maintain a customer-first environment with personal phone use during breaks only

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous retail or customer service experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Patience and enthusiasm when working around children and families

• Eager to learn and grow within the role

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Friendly, respectful communication style and collaborative team approach

• Knowledge of current children's products and trends a bonus

Schedule: 15-25 hours per week, including weekends and some holidays Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience Perks: Employee discount, opportunity to earn additional income through sales performance
